What to expect

Torretta is set within the oldest building of the hamlet, built in the 15th century, and develops vertically over two floors — hence the name. The upper-floor windows open onto a panorama that blends Umbria and Tuscany: south-west the profile of Monte Cetona, east the rolling olive-covered hills.

Layout

On the first floor: living room with fireplace and kitchen with dishwasher. An interior stone staircase leads to the second floor, with the double bedroom, a study with two single beds (perfect for children) and the shower bathroom.

Walls sponge-finished in ochre and cobalt blue — historical hamlet colours. Safe and Wi-Fi included.

Best for

Couples with two children, or four friends. The separation of bedrooms on a dedicated floor ensures privacy. In May or September it’s perfect: clear skies, windows always open.
