Borgo Santa Maria hosts weddings on total exclusive use for up to 47 overnight guests. The civil ceremony can take place in the garden, under the park pergola (sheltered) or by the pool; religious ceremonies in the churches nearby, just a few minutes away. The reception in the combined halls (Sala Cappuccina + Locanda delle Rose, always offered as a single package). Exclusive rate from €2,100/night midweek and from €2,500 at weekends, with a 3-night minimum in high and mid season, 2 in low season. For the reception we work with selected local caterers; we organise tastings of regional wines and products for the welcome and smaller dinners.

How much it costs,
actually.
Three nights is the minimum in high and mid season, two in low season: total exclusive use, 47 overnight guests. The two event halls are included, along with pool, park, sport, Wi-Fi and parking.
Mandatory, whatever the group. The two halls — Sala Cappuccina and Locanda delle Rose, basic setup and kitchen — are instead already included in the exclusive rate.
We organise tastings of regional wines, oils and products for the welcome and smaller dinners. For the reception catering we work with local partners; flowers, music and photography are coordinated with the vendors chosen by the couple.

Where does the ceremony take place?
The civil ceremony can be held in the garden, under the pines with the cypresses behind, or under the covered pergola in the park, which stays usable in the rain. The Monteleone d’Orvieto town hall can officiate on site by prior arrangement. A symbolic ceremony can be held anywhere in the hamlet: by the pool at sunset, on the panoramic terrace, along the stone lane. For a religious ceremony, the churches of Monteleone d’Orvieto are five minutes away.
How much does a wedding at Borgo Santa Maria cost?
The minimum stay for a wedding is three nights in high and mid season, two in low season: one day to set up, one for the celebration, one to leave. Three nights on exclusive use start at €7,100, plus €500 compulsory final cleaning, VAT included. Exclusive use includes the two event halls, the pool and the whole park — they are not separate line items. The spa, Finnish sauna and wood-fired jacuzzi, remains an extra on request.
Where do the guests sleep?
In the ten stone houses of the hamlet, up to 47 overnight guests, bed linen included. It is also why the party can carry on past midnight: nobody has to call a taxi or get behind the wheel to go home.
How late can the music play?
Outdoors, music can run until midnight — that is Italian national noise law, the same for every venue, and nothing to do with the hamlet. After midnight the party moves into the shared halls, Sala Cappuccina and Locanda delle Rose, 110 m² together, at a lower volume. So there is no hour at which everyone has to leave.
Who handles the catering?
As an agriturismo we cannot supply catering ourselves. For weddings, catering is arranged with wedding planner Azzurra, who selects the menu and quotes the service; the Locanda delle Rose kitchen is available to the caterer. If you already have your own planner or a caterer you trust, that is equally fine. What we do organise directly are tastings of regional produce — Orvieto Classico DOC, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, olive oils, pecorino, Umbrian cured meats, the hamlet’s own jams — for the welcome drinks or for dinners of up to thirty guests.
Do we need a wedding planner?
Not necessarily. A Wedding Planning service is available on request with planner Azzurra, €500 + VAT invoiced by her: planning and coordination of the event, selection and management of suppliers (catering, flowers, music, photographer), the schedule for the day and on-site coordination. External planners chosen by the couple are just as welcome.
How do deposits and the balance work?
The booking becomes firm when we receive the first deposit: from that moment the date is yours and the hamlet comes off the calendar for everyone else. In high and mid season: €2,000 on confirmation, a second and a third deposit of €2,000 each, balance before arrival. In low season the three deposits are €1,000 each and the balance is paid on site on arrival. The dates for the two intermediate deposits are set out in the quotation.
